Shipping policies are most useful when they set customer expectations up front and explain delivery options, shipping costs, destination limits, courier details, and possible delays.
Shipping Coverage
We currently ship orders within the United States of America only. Orders placed with a U.S. shipping address will be processed according to the timeline below.
At this time, we do not offer international shipping. Customers should make sure their shipping address is correct before completing checkout, because delivery delays or failed delivery attempts caused by incorrect address information may affect the order.
Order Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
| Step | Timeframe |
|---|---|
| Order placed | Day 0 |
| Processing begins | Within 1–2 business days |
| Package handed to carrier | After processing is complete |
Processing time is separate from delivery time. If an order is placed on a weekend or holiday, processing begins on the next business day. Clear handling-time information is a recommended part of a shipping policy.
Shipping Method
Orders are shipped by mail using standard delivery services. Shipping options may vary depending on the destination, package size, and order contents.
| Shipping Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Standard Mail | Regular delivery option for most orders |
| Carrier Service | Selected based on package and destination |
| Tracking | Provided when available |
If a shipping upgrade or special delivery option is offered at checkout, the estimated delivery time and cost will be shown before the order is completed. A shipping policy should explain what shipping methods are available and how long they usually take.
Delivery Time
After processing, delivery usually takes 3–7 business days depending on the destination and carrier performance.
| Phase | Estimated Time |
|---|---|
| Processing | 1–2 business days |
| Transit | 3–7 business days |
| Total Estimated Time | 4–9 business days |
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to carrier volume, weather, holidays, or address-related issues. Shipping policies commonly include transit estimates so customers know when to expect their packages.
Shipping Cost
Shipping costs are shown during checkout or on the product/order page before payment is completed.
| Cost Type | Details |
|---|---|
| Shipping Fee | Displayed at checkout |
| Free Shipping | If offered, the promotion will be shown clearly |
| Extra Charges | May apply for expedited or special handling if available |
Be transparent about shipping fees so customers can understand the total order cost before they buy. Clear shipping-cost disclosure is a standard best practice for shipping policies.
Tracking Information
When tracking is available, customers will receive tracking details after the order ships.
| Tracking Feature | Availability |
|---|---|
| Tracking Number | Provided when available |
| Tracking Updates | Through the carrier system |
| Shipment Notification | Sent after dispatch |
Tracking helps customers monitor delivery progress and reduces confusion after the order has shipped. A shipping policy should explain how customers receive tracking information.
Shipping Restrictions
Some orders may be restricted by destination, carrier limitations, or product handling requirements.
| Restriction Type | Details |
|---|---|
| Destination | United States only |
| International Shipping | Not available |
| Address Accuracy | Customer must provide a correct address |
| Carrier Limits | Some delivery addresses may not be supported |
Shipping policies should explain any limits on where products can be delivered and whether certain address types are supported.
Delays and Exceptions
Delivery may take longer than expected because of:
Weather conditions.
Carrier delays.
High shipping volume.
Incorrect or incomplete address details.
Holiday shipping periods.
If a delay happens, customers should contact support for assistance. Shipping policies are expected to warn customers about common unexpected delays and who to contact if an issue occurs.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers should make sure that:
The shipping address is correct.
Contact details are accurate.
Someone is available to receive the package if required.
Delivery instructions are entered clearly at checkout if needed.
If an address is entered incorrectly and the package is delayed, returned, or lost, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping costs. Clear customer responsibilities are recommended in shipping policies to reduce disputes and confusion.
